When to book your maternity session
The ideal window for a fine art maternity session is weeks 28 to 36 of your pregnancy. Far enough along that the bump is clearly defined and beautiful, early enough that you're still comfortable and mobile.
Most KPP couples book their session 2-3 months in advance to lock in their preferred date and lighting (we plan around golden hour). If you're past week 32 and haven't booked yet, message me — we can usually squeeze in a session within a fortnight.
What a KPP maternity session looks like
Your session is unhurried — typically 90 minutes — and includes a mix of indoor and outdoor portraits, partner shots if you want them, and detail shots of your bump, hands, and any sentimental objects you want to include. We shoot in soft directional light, against painterly backdrops, in flowing fabric or your own wardrobe.
You receive a curated, hand-edited gallery of 30-70 fine art images, delivered within 4 weeks.
