Clients are warmly welcomed to enjoy sessions within the Vaal Triangle, with no additional travel fees. This includes exclusive use of our elegant studio space located in the area.

For locations beyond the Vaal Triangle, a custom travel fee will apply based on your chosen destination.

What’s the difference between Classic and Fine Art portraiture?

Our Classic Family Portraiture focuses on genuine connection and timeless elegance, with natural light and minimal retouching — perfect for relaxed, polished family portraits.
Our Fine Art Portraiture, on the other hand, is a highly styled, editorial-inspired experience. These images feature dramatic lighting, artistic direction, and painterly retouching for a gallery-worthy finish.

Do you provide the location for our session?

Location is entirely up to you — whether you envision an outdoor setting, a private venue, or something unique to your family. Clients are responsible for booking and covering any associated fees for the location of their choice. We’re happy to offer guidance and recommend beautiful spots that align with your vision, if needed.

How long does it take to receive our images?

We believe in quality over speed. Each image is thoughtfully curated and hand-edited to reflect the beauty and emotion of your session. This meticulous process ensures a refined, timeless finish — especially for our painterly fine art portraits, which are crafted with great care.

You can expect your full gallery within 4 to 5 weeks of your session. If your collection includes Fine Art images, they may take slightly longer due to the detailed nature of the editing.

We’ll keep you updated every step of the way — it’s worth the wait.

Is there a travel fee for locations outside the Vaal Triangle?

Yes. Sessions within the Vaal Triangle are included in your collection with no additional charge. For locations beyond this region, a travel fee of R5.50 per kilometre will apply, calculated from the Vaal Triangle to your chosen location.

We’ll provide a custom quote once your session details are confirmed.

What is the painterly effect?

The painterly effect is a signature fine art finish that transforms a photograph into a timeless, artwork-inspired portrait. With depth, light, and texture reminiscent of a classic oil painting, these images are designed to be treasured for generations.

Can I choose which images are edited?

Your full gallery is carefully hand-selected by us to ensure a polished, emotionally rich final collection. We take great care in choosing the most flattering and meaningful moments so you don’t have to.
For Fine Art images, selection is done exclusively in person at our studio, where we guide you through the process to ensure the final artwork is perfectly aligned with your vision and home.
